Material Library

The Material Library provides 90 ready-made PBR material presets across 14 categories. Instead of building materials from scratch, browse the library, preview on a 3D sphere, and import presets into your personal collection in one click.

Using Library Materials

  1. 1Navigate to Dashboard > Materials.
  2. 2Click the "Material Library" button.
  3. 3Browse by category or search by name.
  4. 4Click on a preset to see a live 3D sphere preview showing how the material looks under scene lighting.
  5. 5Click "Use Material" to copy the preset into your personal material library.
  6. 6The imported material is now fully editable — adjust colours, roughness, metallic, swap textures, or tweak advanced settings as needed.

Customisation: Library materials are duplicated into your collection when you import them. You can freely edit the copy without affecting the original preset. This is great for creating variations (e.g., "Brushed Steel - Silver" and "Brushed Steel - Gold").
Lighting matters: Library material previews use the same HDR environment as your project. If a material looks different after import, check your project's lighting settings (Project Settings > Lighting) — the environment map heavily influences how metallic and reflective materials appear.
