WordPress Plugin

The Simplio3D WordPress plugin turns your projects into native WordPress blocks. Place the 3D viewer, each option, the price, a summary and an Add to Cart or quote button anywhere on a page — they all share one live configuration. Simplio3D keeps your models, materials, rules and pricing; WordPress controls the layout, styling and store.

The blocks

Viewer

The interactive 3D view. Height, mobile height, background, auto-rotate and loading are set per block.

Options

One option from your project — materials, dropdowns, thumbnails, carousels, checkboxes, toggles, number inputs, price variables, text and uploads. Add one block per option.

Price

The live price, formatted with your project’s currency and tax settings.

Summary

The configuration in plain words, with optional thumbnails, SKUs, quantity and total.

Submit / Add to Cart

Send a quote request to your Requests, or add the configuration to the WooCommerce cart.

Before you start

  • A WordPress site (6.3 or newer) served over https. WooCommerce is only needed for Add to Cart.
  • A published project: open the Share dialog and enable the share link. Password-protected links can’t be shown in WordPress.
  • If you use domain restrictions on the share link, add your website’s domain.

Build a configurator page

  1. 1In WordPress, install and activate “Simplio3D Product Configurator” (Plugins → Add New).
  2. 2Open Simplio3D in the WordPress admin menu and click “Log in to Simplio3D” (or “Create a free account”). You sign in here, choose the workspace and click “Allow and connect” — no password or key is copied into WordPress.
  3. 3Edit a page, add the “Simplio3D Viewer” block and choose your project from the picker.
  4. 4Add a “Simplio3D Options” block for each option you want to show. New Simplio3D blocks pick up the Viewer’s project automatically — just choose the option.
  5. 5Add the “Simplio3D Price” and “Simplio3D Summary” blocks where you want them.
  6. 6Add the “Simplio3D Submit / Add to Cart” block. For Add to Cart, choose the WooCommerce product it sells as.
  7. 7Publish the page.
In WordPress, Simplio3D → “New page: Viewer + sidebar” creates a draft page with all the blocks laid out. Two block patterns (sidebar and below-viewer) are also in the block inserter.

How prices are protected in WooCommerce

When a shopper clicks Add to Cart, your WordPress server sends the chosen options to Simplio3D, which checks them against the project (unknown options, options hidden by your conditional logic and out-of-range numbers are refused) and calculates the price. WooCommerce charges that price — never a price sent by the shopper’s browser. The product must be linked to the project, so a configuration can’t be added as a different product.

A few advanced pricing features can’t be verified on the server yet — bespoke pricing blocks and numeric conditional rules that change which options are priced. For those projects the WordPress editor warns you; sell them at the WooCommerce product price or use quote requests.

Quote requests

In Submit mode the block shows your project’s form fields (Forms mode). Submissions arrive in Requests with the configuration and price, and use your email, PDF and webhook settings — exactly like the Share view.

Good to know

  • Modular projects show as the full Simplio3D configurator (module placement happens inside it). Any project can use this “full configurator” display mode.
  • Text Input and File Upload are collected and included in requests and orders; drawing them on the 3D model inside WordPress blocks is not available yet. The Design Canvas links to the full configurator.
  • Subscription: the plugin shows your plan and trial. If the subscription lapses, configurators on the site show “temporarily unavailable” until you reactivate it.
  • Connected sites are listed in Dashboard → Integrations → WordPress, where you can disconnect a site at any time.
  • Sites that used the earlier plugin keep working in Legacy mode; switching is optional (WordPress → Simplio3D → Migration).
  • Your WooCommerce connection in Dashboard → Integrations → WooCommerce is separate and is not changed by the plugin. Its Redirect to Checkout and Add to Basket buttons keep working exactly as before. If a WooCommerce product is linked in both places, the dashboard’s button still adds it at its WooCommerce price, while the plugin’s Add to Cart block charges the price verified by Simplio3D — the product’s Simplio3D panel in WordPress tells you when this applies.
